Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CultYourself (the "Service"), an independent, non-commercial project without a separate registered legal entity behind it. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

CultYourself is a platform for discovering cultural events, artists, shows, and venues, and for keeping track of the ones you care about. Event details are gathered from public sources and community contributions and may change or be inaccurate — always confirm dates, times, and ticketing directly with the organizer or venue before making plans.

Accounts

You need an account to save events, mark attendance, comment, or connect Spotify. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent, abusive, or harmful to the Service or other users.

Your content

Comments and other content you submit remain yours, but by posting them you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute them as part of the Service. You're responsible for what you post, and it must not be illegal, infringing, defamatory, or abusive. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to disrupt it, scraping or bulk-extracting data without permission, impersonating others, or using it for spam or unlawful purposes.

Third-party links and services

The Service links to and embeds content from third parties (venues, ticket sellers, Spotify, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, and others). We don't control these third parties and aren't responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Connecting a Spotify account is also subject to Spotify's own terms of service.

Intellectual property

The CultYourself name, design, and site content (excluding user-submitted content and third-party material) belong to CultYourself. Artist images, logos, and promotional material remain the property of their respective owners.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that event information is accurate, complete, or up to date, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CultYourself is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including missed events, ticketing issues, or reliance on information published on the site.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.
